Arachnoid: Monday Mutant 36 just released!

Add spiderfolk to your post-apocalyptic campaign!

The oldsters engineered them as cuddly pets and collectibles, then the military made covert variants for war, but now, exposure to mutagenic agents has perfected spiderfolk for survival in the post-apocalyptic world of The Mutant Epoch.

Arachnoids are pigeon sized jumping spiders of considerable intelligence, the ability to talk, use simple weapons, wear armor, and even join forces with human scavengers and excavation teams.

Besides being a potential new wasteland monster with a paralytic bite, this new offering comes with rules on using them as player characters. Enlisting an arachnoid to a dig team means the ruin crawlers have a remarkable scout in their ranks, one that can go unseen by most any foe and deliver a knock out venomous bite.

Illustrated and written by William McAusland, creator of The Mutant Epoch, grab your ‘pay what you want’ copy of this small, venomous 'jumper' today. They are also playable as player characters with all the generation rules and outfitting included in this little 7 page RPG supplement!

Hog Squealer: Monday Mutant 35 just released!

Hog Squealer: Monday Mutant 35 just released!

While untold numbers of bizarre, nightmare mutants of the post-apocalyptic wastes seek to devour or drive off would-be ruin explorers and wasteland travelers, few do so by first tying to make them careless, annoyed, or insane.

Hog squealers do just that, however, and often without first showing themselves, will call out in snippets of remembered voices—voices of past victims or those they taunted and tracked on earlier hunts. Each minute, a squealer will unleash a bit of dialog, either from the game master’s own selection, or from the massive d100 table included with this all new creature. These things make these annoying, often nonsensical calls in order to frustrate, confuse, and split the party, attempting to get one of their humanoid targets away from the group.

Hog Squealers are pony sized mutants with mainly pig ancestry, hunt in packs and appear as mutated specimens seventeen percent of the time.

Lamprey-Whale: Monday Mutant 34 just released!

While nowhere is truly safe in the post-apocalyptic new era of The Mutant Epoch, the deep waters are particularly dangerous. In the case of the lamprey-whale, which can weigh in at over eight thousand kilograms* and measure up to fourteen meters*, these giant mutant fish either surface to first inspect a swimmer or vessel, or take a probing bite to see if it’s eatable—often mistaking a ship’s hull for its normal prey, baleen whales — and then move off or attack.

While in their standard form they are bad enough, but extra mutie variants also exist, some with two heads, tentacles, armored hides, amphibious adaptations, or ultrasonic surge abilities.

Illustrated by Avalon McAusland and written by Will McAusland, grab your ‘pay what you want’ copy of this behemoth of the Epochian waterways today!

*8000kg is roughly 17,500 pounds, while 14 meters is about 43 feet.

Dumpster Mimic: Monday Mutant 33 just released!

As if the friggin' ruins weren't dangerous enough!

Now, reports from the old megalopolis are coming in telling of excavators getting swallowed alive by something among the junk, something they thought was cover and concealment. Dig teams and scavs who survived these encounters call the monsters 'lid-lurkers', 'trash-shells', 'scrap-hermits' or 'dumpster-mimics'.

Good luck out there, ruin looters, you'll need it!
