Dog Daze just Released!

 

You’re on the run in the weeds and wreckage... and you aren’t alone. You’re being tracked, being surrounded, and likely the next meal for the hounds of the wastes. Your goal is to get to the excavator support town of Pitford, but the coming night, impending junk storm, and bizarre beasts of the scrub-land make the odds of that very remote. Getting off the surface might be your only hope.

Challenge Yourself
Grab your dice, a pencil, and your character sheets and immerse yourself in hours of unpredictable, epic adventure. See if your character can survive and if not, our condolences, so come join the Epochian community online and share your casualties by using the hashtag #DogDazeKIA on Instagram, twitter, or other social media.

This fast-paced, highly re-playable module can be used as a training ground for those new to the Outland System. Likewise, sections of this book can be inserted into a game master’s own dig sites and encounters, or slid into other published TME adventures. Only minor, 'on the fly' tweaks are needed to convert Dog Daze into a GM directed quest.

DOG DAZE Arrives Tomorrow, December 7th

 

9:30 PM PST Dec 6. After the untimely demise of my main computer, disruption of the recovered hard drive, hasty muster of another computer, software and file loading, print formatting and font issue, re-dos and fixes, and nearly every other sort of calamity to which a book's release in print and PDF, might suffer, it is all resolved. It's done after a years and a half of work.

The web site is ready to update with the new files, the PDF sample standing by, PDFs and the array of cover mocks ups, thumbnails, and web links at hand. Tomorrow, Dec 7th 2021, Dog Daze will be released on Amazon (softcover print book), Gumroad, (PDF sales where we earn 95%), and of course drivethrurpg.com

This is a huge, 240 page solo adventure with 204 illustrations, although can easily be converted to a regular, GM conducted scenario.

 Hello Epochians, I'll be at another Goodman Games hosted virtual convention this weekend, November 5th -7th and when I'm not out walking the dog, sleeping, or eating, you'll find me at Empire of the Cyclops Con around the artist's Alley.

There are a few other illustrators and vendors for this DCC/5e event including an arcade where you can play old video games on your computer. It's free I hear, for you to come over to gather.town, make a quick character and  use your computer's camera and mic to explore the maps, tavern and main convention area. This system doesn't seem to like phones and tablets all that much but does offer limited capabilities. So stop on by and say hello. Even if we don't chat, you should check this format out because it's something I'd like to do for The Mutant Epoch community. WM

Hello Epochians!

I will be at Dungeon Con Online this weekend May 28 to 31st at the Outland Arts Booth

This is a 5e D&D focused convention, but everybody is welcome. While people can grab The Mutant Epoch RPG, I will primarily focus on selling original art I did as a freelancer for Goodman Games. The dealer's hall will be open for free to the general public, but the ticket price is $20.00 for a badge which entitles all purchasers full access to all events and seminars.

You'll need the same setup as a zoom meeting, but be using gather.town which allows the exploration of an on-screen map which incidentally, I sculpted, painted and photographed in the Handcrafted Dungeons style and will eventually use as a product in that lineup.

Spawn of Cyclops Con this weekend

Hey, this weekend, starting tomorrow (Friday the 26th) I'll be at a virtual game convention as part of the Goodman Games freelancer crew.

Happy New Year from Outland Arts!

If you can't read the text beneath the illustration it reads Digital Being, a new character type from the upcoming Mutant Epoch Expansion Rules, from the front cover art.

I'm doing all the cover characters a separate illustration with the intention to have them as ready to play PC or NPC characters available around the release of the mighty book (which is still quite a ways off, sorry to say). Our next book is the solo play adventure Dog-Daze, which is about to go into edits and interior art.
