Quick Update

 

Just a quick update on a Saturday afternoon. Doing some late stage character generation testing on the upcoming Expansion Rules. Need to design the new character sheets for all the new PC types. Re-do the layout again as it was heading to a 600 page book! Cant be much more than 500 pages. My God, man!

The Outland Arts Booth from Kamcon23 in Kamloops, BC, Canada. And there I stand waiting to answer questions like “Is this like D&D?”

Actually, while sales were regrettably low, and I think the recession has really bitten into people’s spending habits, interest was high and a lot of gamers discovered The Mutant Epoch for the first time. Thanks to Danny Seedhouse for rolling up characters and running TME all weekend, and Kevin and the other drafted volunteers for helping watch the booth or set up and take down the display. We’ll be back bigger and better next year in the same corner. And thanks also go to all the organizers and volunteers for #kamcon. They, like the convention attendees and other vendors, were fantastic!

First proof pages of the TME Expansion Rules arrived

First 70 pages of this 450+ page book arrived. Doesn’t look like much but this is a huge step in getting The Mutant Epoch Expansion Rules book completed! Still have well over a hundred tiny interior illustrations and a few full pagers to do, but it’s going well. Will be playtesting new character types at Kamcon23 here in Kamloops this month!
