Zombie Apocalypse

So, another option is to use The Mutant Epoch TTRPG hub rules to play a Walking Dead style game, set in the far future, or tomorrow morning. Use moaners as zombies, but slow them to half and any successful bite attack means the victim must make a willpower based hazards check or become infected and slowly turn.

Survivalist Mode

One of the setting options in The Mutant Epoch hub rules book is to play a modern survivalist scenario. You’d strip out the sci-fi relics, robots, androids, cyborgs and mutants and play ‘The Road’ , Mad Max, the postman, or The Book of Eli, as examples.

Sure, an adult human can probably cope with one bite from these arachnids, but these things swarm large targets and can deliver multiple bites, cause their victims to drop into a coma, and possible death.

Razor Tailed Skink

At only 50 cm long, with 30cm of that being it’s dreaded, razor sharp bone tail, these tiny terrors can open up a person’s leg and cause a real bleeder. Worse, once these lizards make a hit, they will cough loudly and attract more of their kind to the impending feast.

Just recovering from camping, doing some freelance stuff to pay the bills today and back to editing on the Expansion Rules again tonight. We were camping at Scotch Creek British Columbia this weekend, our first trip of the year and it was fantastic. No bugs, yet. I did mess up my hand a few times, but still managed to do about a dozen pencils for The mutant Epoch Expansion Rules book, and ride bikes, eat smokies and drink cider.

While it’s magazine only takes ten rounds, this widely issued concealed carry sidearm was very popular among civilians in the pre-collapse era, and even more popular after things went to hell. It has a built in flashlight, compass, fire starter, knife and other items, and does accept standard 20 round mags.
